Allan Johnson, "Privilege, Power and Difference, What can we do?

Authors Argument- Johnson says that change needs to be made in our society, and that people need to know about the problems that are going on, and when people are aware of these problems is the only time that we will be able to fix the problems

Evidence- "Listen to what is being said. Take it seriously. Assume for the time beings that its true, because given the power and paths of least resistance, it probably is. And then take responsibility to do something about it" p. 140

Comments- I totally agree with Johnson on this, i think that people are not aware of the problem that go on around them. they are in a state of "ignorance is bliss" where if they do not see or hear about the problem then it is not there. so the problem needs to be shown to them so that they may fix it, or at least know that it is there and want to change it.
